Minecraft's Big Wilderness Update Arrives June 7th
It took a while, but Minecraft's The Wild Update is nearly here. all about minecraft servers and minecraft in general Mojang and Microsoft will release The Wild across all platforms on June 7 and it's as vast as they promised. Two biomes have been added to the game including a mangrove swamp as well as a "deep darkness" which hides vicious mobs, such as Warden and Shrieker and also special resources. You can also take in a boat equipped with a chest so you don't have to leave supplies behind when traversing a lake.
The upgrade also includes the mud block (made with dirt and water naturally), a crowd-voted item collector mob (the allay) and a frog, which develops from tadpoles. It even produces "froglights" in the event that it tries to attack magma.
The launch comes after Mojang had to rethink its expansion strategy. The initial plan was for the deep dark biome to debut in 2021. However it was changed to The Wild after the developer struggled with the size and complexity of its two-part Caves and Cliffs Update. It is not surprising that Minecraft wants to keep its game in play for more than a decade, however the timeline suggests that it might have been a bit too eager to please.
