The Steam Deck Xbox games list expands today, Microsoft reveals, to include 11 games published by Xbox that are verified or playable on Valve's platform. The list doesn't contain the hoped-for Steam Deck Halo Infinite compatibility however, it does include Fable, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and all of the Halo games that aren't FPS.
PCGamesN revealed yesterday that there are over 22,000 Steam Deck Verified (or Playable) games, but there are still about 1,000 games that aren't supported. Unfortunately some of the unsupported ones include such important Xbox games as Halo Infinite and Gears 5, mostly thanks to issues with Easy Anti-Cheat.
Although it is possible for Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream Xbox games on Steam Deck but those who want to download them onto Steam Deck is out of luck in most cases. This is a good thing, as Xbox Games Studios today reveals another batch of Steam Deck compatible games - that unfortunately doesn't include the latest Halo or Gears games, however, it does include Halo Wars, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and the sole major Fable game for PC.
