Big Updates for Fairway Solitaire and Junk Jack
Two of my favorite iOS games over the past few years have seen major improvements. Fairway Solitaire is a really brilliant puzzle/card game that combines golf and solitaire in an enjoyable way, and it's gotten an update that includes an abundance of regular content. The game now comes with the option of a "Daily Mode" where you can take on a every day a new challenge, and earn new Challenge Cups to unlock even more courses. There's also a brand-new card back and push notifications -- Fairway Solitaire is completely free and is one of the best cost-to-fun ratio games I've seen on any platform. Junk Jack has also gotten another big update, although the team behind the game has warned players not to install it just yet (there's apparently a game-breaking glitch in the game). Whenever the expedited update does arrive there will be many new items added to the 2D Minecraft-like sandbox title, including bows, animals to control and new treasures to find along with inventory and UI changes as well as a variety of revamped graphics from around the world. The update sounds amazing, and Junk Jack is a great game. It's unfortunate that the team was harmed by a glitch. However the next update is expected to be available soon and everything will be back to normal.
