Hey fans!
People ask us about possible server updates every time. The problem we've faced is that no one ever really knows what that should mean other than "newer server version." Well, we've decided that creative would be an excellent opportunity to become the main building ground of the community for map submissions. With that in mind we set out to create a world where builders would love.
Map submissions should be made in 1.8 since the majority of the server runs on 1.8. So should we update the server version here? Let's not forget about our history. Creative was the home of many Role Play enthusiasts and some very talented minds that created some amazing builds that wouldn't fit anywhere else on the server. We're not going to take any of this away. This is not a rebranding or enhancement of creative. Updating the server version is very beneficial to all the things creative used to be, but by itself is not enough, so we dug deep and we gave it more :)
Changes Builders Delights + Updated server version to 1.18 + Plot sizes from 48x48 to 201x201 (Whoo! CENTERED POTS! + World Edit and VoxelSniper are now fully available for all players! + A villager was added to the parkour lobby/OITC lobby advertising a map maker universe that takes you to Creative. + Redesigned map submission tutorial to indicate maps that need to be built on Server and submitting plot (or import from server and submit). + Added a toggle that allows you to integrate Jump Pads into the plot. + Added a toggle that allows you to create megaparkours that give carpet the megaparkour features
Role Play + Added in Character sheets that allow you to set a character name, race, gender and description. + Plot Chats were redesigned to use your characters name + Added furniture, lamps, and other trinkets. Command for Character Sheet: /character (lists your character sheet with click-commands to edit info) /character set [Name|Description|Gender|Race] /character check (or right-click the player)
Bonuses + 24 Plots around spawn have been reserved to contests/purchase. + You can request the import of your previous plots (for a fee). minecraft servers The server store allows you to upload schematics and download a plot schematic.
