NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that’s a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated. “The United States is our number one market for inbound tourism for Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel each month. We are extremely happy to see an improvement in the trend and anticipate it to continue for a long time.”

Canada is not far behind that of the United States of America, is on track for surpassing the tourist numbers to Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in tourists in August.
