    The Kerem Tunnel allows for a the most unique riding and hiking experience.

    The Kerem Tunnel is the first cycle tunnel in Israel and was officially opened in the year 2000 as part the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles Jerusalem, the capital city.

    It links Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. Its southern entrance is within Refaim Park under Ein Laban. נווה פריצקי The northern entry, Nahal Ein Kerem, is approximately half a mile away from the Kerem junction.

It is now being used as an infrastructure tunnel which includes the fifth waterline that runs to Jerusalem from the Mekorot water corporation.

    Construction of roads installation, blowers, modern safety systems , and electrical wiring are all part and parcel of the current work. The tunnel will be safe for the people to use all season.

    The Kerem Tunnel also allows access to unique recreation sites – including the Ein Kerem neighborhood, the biblical zoo and aquarium along with the historic natural springs in Ein Laban and Ein Haniyeh.
