NEW YORK – Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That’s a 13% increase over 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He stated, “It’s so exciting to again see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from America, which is already reaching or surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. נווה פריצקי “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 tourists in August, isn’t much behind the United States.
