NEW YORK – Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. נווה פריצקי This represents a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over 2019.

Canada is home to 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn’t too much behind the United States.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening for everyone regardless of their vaccination status in May this year Israel has witnessed more than 600,400 US visitors.
