NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He said, “It’s so exciting to once more see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, which is already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States has been our largest market for Israel’s tourism inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record numbers of Israel’s tourism entry every month.

נווה פריצקי Canada is on track to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

Israel received more visitors from around the world in 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 were Americans. Israel’s official reopening for all travelers was May 2018. Israel has been home to more than 600,400 US travelers since then.
