NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of visitors from America. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. It was a four percent increase over the year before seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

He said, “It’s so exciting to again see an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, and already reaching or surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019”. “The United States is our top market for Israel’s inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are extremely happy to have witnessed this positive change and expect this trend to last for many months and years.”

Canada is poised to surpass Israel’s tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel welcomed more tourists from all over the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were American. Israel’s official reopening for travellers from May 2018. The country has been home to more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
