It was a four percent increase over 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

Not far behind the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international visitors in the year 2019 including 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they’re immunized. It has already hosted over 600,000.
