NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and August. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6lwMSJfGow The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% increase over 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, “It’s so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, which is already reaching or surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States is our number one market for inbound tourism for Israel. נווה פריצקי Before the COVID-19 pandemic we had record number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are extremely happy to see this positive change and expect this trend to last for a long time.”

Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed the number of tourists visiting Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.
