Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first of his family members to be born. After his first and second education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded a BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married with Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry while he was still a student at AAU. At the time the Believers’ World Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest college fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions members around the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

Through the 2002 environment for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The broadcast stopped in May 2004 after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles should be ceased by the churches.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry comprises four different branches: publishing ministry; the healing ministry, television ministry and the teaching ministry. From these ministries that he pulled out the healing school, atmosphere for miracles, as well as the Pastor Chris live prayer network.

The InnerCity Mission for children is a faith-based not-for-profit Organisation (NGO). In 2005 the NGO was created to help the poor, destitute, orphaned, and children who are vulnerable .

The children who are in need of assistance are supported by the foundation with participatory interventions that include family strengthening programmes as well as child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to enhance the standard of living and the overall health of communities and nations through promoting improved emergency response services for incidents and emergency situations. The foundation intends to achieve this feat by educating the public about health advocacy, community-based and other initiatives while aiming to provide support for national policies regarding trauma treatment.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Over a thousand have received first aid as well as emergency response training through the foundation. Their records show that they have been able to teach thousands of students, teachers, law enforcers caregivers, road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps
