It was a long summer evening, and Jack and his friends planned a road trip up to the cabin for the weekend. They had all heard stories about the cabin and its mysterious background, and were eager to explore the place.

The moment they arrived, the cabin looked exactly as they imagined it. It was a two-story log cabin that had a huge porch and an enormous stone fireplace. It was a beautiful day and the skies were a dark purple. Jack and his friends stood in awe of the cabin, taking delight in its stunning beauty.

On the lower level, they discovered a large living room with a fireplace and a piano. They also discovered a dining room with an older wooden table as well as chairs.

Inside the kitchen they found a small wood-burning stove, an old kitchen sink, and various pots and pans. Everything was covered in an overcoat of dust, but there was something that was calming about it.

As they explored the cabin, the sun set and darkness filled the sky. Jack and his buddies decided to light a flame in the fire and sit around talking.

While they were talking, they heard a strange noise emanating from outside of the cabin. Jack requested his companions to be quiet and listen. They heard a sound that was emanating from the woods.

Jack and his friends decided to investigate the sound and ventured out to the forest. They followed the sound until they came upon an old, abandoned cabin. They were surprised to see that the knocking came directly from the inside of the building.

Jack and his companions were afraid to enter the cabin, and so they decided to go to their cabins and investigate the following morning.

After a few days, the group returned to the cabin abandoned. They walked in and saw an elderly man sitting in a chair near the fireplace. He was dressed in a suit, and had an elongated white beard.

The old man welcomed them and said he had been at the door to their house the night prior. It was explained to them that he was in search of someone who could assist him. He said the name of his friend was the Mr. Smith and he was searching for his long-lost son. He’d been looking for him for many years and was told that the man might be in the region.

Jack and his buddies agreed to help Mr. Smith find his son. They searched for him and eventually found him living in a nearby town.

As Jack and his friends went back home to stay along with the help of Mr. Smith’s son, they were greeted with a joyous reunion. The Mr. Smith thanked Jack and his friends for their help and asked them to visit anytime.

Following this incident, Jack and his friends promised to never forget the strange knocking sound at an abandoned cabin. They realized that they’d been through something unique and they would never forget the experience.
