The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that’s a 4 percent increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He stated, “It’s so exciting to witness a further increase of tourism to Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019”. “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country every month. It’s a great positive change that we are pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for years to come.”

Canada, which has 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 in August, isn’t much from the United States.
